Jennifer Lascio graduated from Temple University in 1998 with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. After graduation, she became a legal secretary and took the Philadelphia Police exam and passed. Not wanting to wait to serve her nation as a police officer she decided to join the Army Reserves as a Military Policewoman. After completing basic training, she was deployed to Bosnia. She was also deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After 5 years of service, she was honorably discharged from the Reserves. Because she had educational debt before she joined the military, she is not covered by the GI Bill which does not work retroactively. This debt coupled with a difficult job market and two children has made her financial situation difficult. Please help this veteran now so that she is no longer encumbered by a debt that she has paid for through her service to the nation.
